Primary 12 Trip to Aith

P1/2 went on a successful trip via the play parks in Bixter and Aith to enjoy a visit to Michaelswood on Tuesday 4th June.

We enjoyed playing together on the different play equipment at each place, often working on our teamwork skills as we mastered various climbing frames. Everyone went on a piece of equipment which challenged them. The see saw and the ‘spinning roundabout’ seemed to be the most popular. But there was always a queue for the swings at all three locations!

In Michaelswood we worked our way up to the top of the hill for a group photo at the cow seat and we enjoyed all the attractions on the way up and down! We stopped off at the dinosaurs, the boat activity, the small house and had lots of fun in the wood.

We had lunch in the polycrub which kept us dry from the one shower of the day.

We’d like to thank our bus driver, the parents who volunteered and the accompanying staff for such a nice day out.
