Week 4 Term 4

This week our classes have been getting into their IDL projects.  We’ve also had a really interesting visit from Davy our community police officer.
P1 have been working on addition  within 6 and 7, doing creative block play.  Our p12s have been practising their  talking and listening through Show and tell, and our caterpillars are getting big!
p34 have been practising their team skills in a beetle drive and learning how to fry a pancake.
p56 have been super creative.  They’ve been creating 3D models from the contours on a map as part of their geology learning.  They have been researching a famous Scot of their choice.
p67 were very keen to learn about the job of a police officer.
We awarded 5 wider achievement awards this week to a group of children who rescued a tired migratory bird.  Well done to our spelling award winners and star badge winners.
