The children have been showing lots of interest in board games and puzzles this week.  Board games are great at helping develop turn-taking, listening, problem solving and number recognition skills.

The children are always keen to get involved in helping at snack time, setting out the table and putting away the dishes.  We always try to ensure that the children all get a turn at helping prepare the snack for everyone.

The children have had lots of fun playing in the sand this week.  Lots of imaginative play has been going on.  The children have been using it as a home for the dinosaurs, a digging ground for the trucks as well as a kitchen where they have been using the sand as ingredients to make all sorts of food in the play kitchen.

Here is a selection of photos, showing some of the other things the children have been up to this week.
