There has been lots of mark making both inside and outside the nursery this week.  It has been lovely seeing all their creations and hearing about the pictures they have been making.  Mark making is a great way to help develop our fine and gross motor skills and control over our bodies.   It is also a great way to build those muscles in our fingers to get ready for pencil writing later on.   It is also a great way for the children to be creative and express themselves through their art work.

On the nice days the children have been very keen to get outside.  There has been lots of great teamwork between the children when playing on the bikes.

Some of the children used the Duplo to build a fantastic zoo for the animals.  There was lots of super working together and sharing when constructing their building as well as lots of discussions about where the animals would live in the zoo.

Here is a selection of some of the other things the children have been up to in the nursery this week.
