Zuzanna O’Rourke the Shetland librarian came down with book bug for a visit and read us a story.
We went outside to collect some worms for Harris to eat. We went up to the out of school garden to see what we could find. Mrs Smith lifted up bags of compost and plant pots to see if there were any worms underneath. The children managed to fine 3 or 4 worms for Harris.
Anri, Johanne and Saara made pizza for snack with Mrs colvin, they all enjoyed trying it at snack time.
Harris the hedgehog came to nursery to visit for a few day, before he came we spoke about what kind of den he would need to keep warm, when he would sleep and how big he would need to be before he was put back into the wild. Everyday we weight him and we would feed him, he liked to eat cat food and worms.
