Erik, in P2, recently celebrated his 6th birthday. rather than give out party bags, his family chose to make a donation to the school. Erik picked out some lovely posters to put up in the Explore and Learn room, regularly used by P1 and 2.
Today, Erik chose where he wanted them to go and helped me up them up.
Thank you Erik!

Yesterday we celebrated World Down’s Syndrome day, raising awareness.
The date for WDSD being the 21st day of the 3rd month, was selected to signify the uniqueness of the triplication (trisomy) of the 21st chromosome which causes Down syndrome.
Thank you to everyone that donned bright, odd (and even Christmas) socks!
We’ve started our day sending Ms Henderson off in style! We are hoping to give her a happy and fun day to remember us by!
This week, at the request of the pupils in P2/3/4, we have ‘brain’.
Thank you Kayden for helping me this week!
Continuing with signs to support our topic work on the human body, this week, we are learning ‘legs.’ Thanks Lottie Mae!
Continuing on with our human body work, this week Jasmin is showing us how to sign lungs.
We are back! Apologies that sign of the week has disappeared for a while. We are going to look at parts of the body for the rest of the term, as lots of classes are learning about the human body in their topic work. This week we are looking at the Heart, thank you to Ruby for your help! (You may need to click the hyperlink below to see the video)
