It was such a lovely day that we decided to do our maths outside. We were looking at measurement and had a challenge to beat Miss Hunter on finding five different things and use words like “bigger,” “longest,” “longer,” etc.
Following our big question on mapping last week… we had to do Pirates for our play projects this week!!
We have been looking at mapping and have been creating our own maps, including a map key!! Some even created more maps during their play and some even did them at home!! Great work, primary 1/2.
We love being outdoors!
On arrival, we have some speedy skills to carry out. This might be to write the perfect letter or number or to write a sentence or a word or even complete a sum…
As part of our big question, we were looking at freezing and melting and what better way to investigate this than making our own ice-cream. Recipe is below!
We were so lucky to have Joy joining us this week for some African drumming. She told us all about the drums and showed us some rhythms! She even gave us some homework for next week!
