Another busy week in the class of P1/2.
Primary 1 Addition and Subtraction Bingo
We are rounding up our subtraction and addition topic and the bairns have loved the different activities we have done but Bingo has been a big hit!
Community Bags
We were asked by the local kirk if we would help brighten up the bags that they deliver food parcels in… and the bairns did not disappoint! They took great care in their work and I am sure it will make people smile when they receive their parcels.
Outside Classroom
We had a lovely afternoon outside. Mrs Bannister set up the outdoor classroom and we loved it! Here is hoping for some more of this dry, calm weather!
A few snapshots of a busy classroom
Whenever someone comes into the classroom they will always comment on how busy everyone it… and they really are! Here are some photos of them working away in the classroom!
SMUHA Burning
Today ended with a peerie procession of wir own! Was just so lovely having the school altogether. Three cheers to Trevor on his amazing galley!
Early Years SMUHA
We were delighted to watch the Early Years bairns and staff do their procession this morning. We think they all looked brilliant and were impressed with the singing and the burning of the galley! Three cheers for Cunningsburgh Early Years!
SMUHA at Cunningsburgh School
Today we were delighted to welcome the Jarl, Leigh Smith and his squad to join in with the SMUHA celebrations. The squad entertained us with some 80s tunes and in return the class performed a song for them… and they were brilliant! Very proud of them all! Afterwards, some of the squad visited us in the class! A lovely morning!

World Book Day
The bairns all looked fantastic in their outfits for World Book Day! In the afternoon there was a hot chocolate station set up where the children could get their drink and biscuit before settling down to look at books or hear the older bairns reading. What a super afternoon! Thanks to Primary 6/7 and Mrs Adamson.
Play Play Play
Every day is busy in Primary 1/2! Here is a snapshot of some of the things they have been doing this week! Special thanks to Mrs Bannister who has been in extra to make the environment much more inviting for the bairns!
