This is a story that I made on the thirteenth of December I hope you like it has a Christmas theme I hope you like it .
The Adventure
On the 3rd of December they were five elves .The oldest elf was called Belinda and the second oldest was called Melissa she was the same age as Leah her twin sister. Belinda had a green hat and leggings and top and shoes Melissa had the same and so did Leah .The third oldest elf was called Kerry and the youngest was called Honor. Kerry and Honor also had a green hat and top leggings and so did Honor. They lived in Lapland. Lapland was covered in snow you could see lots of snowman and you could hear footsteps in the crispy snow you could smell food coming from Mrs. Clause’s kitchen. They went out for an adventure and they climbed up a snowy hill it was deep and they got stuck then Belinda remembered the whistle that Santa gave her and he said “If you are in trouble blow this whistle and I will come and help you “, So Belinda blew the whistle and Santa came in a puff of smoke. Santa came to the rescue and pulled them out and put them in his sleigh and they got home just in time to help Mrs. Claus make ginger bread Santa’s and elves and once they decorated them and then they came alive they played with the elves and then they lived happily ever after.

I made a Christmas card on Monday. I did a snowman card. I used cottenwool and felt. I stuck the cottenwool on to a piece of paper. I cut a piece of black felt for the buttons for the snowman. I put an orange felt for the nose for the snowman.

In French we are learning about French food and different recipes to make different French food. Yesterday we did chocolate mousse; we had to read the french recipe and then write it out in English. We got to make a word bank and we drew pictures of things you need to make chocolate mousse I drew a bol (bowl) that is blue with white spots, Brydon drew a blue micro-onde (microwave), Kay drew a white frigo (fridge) and Charlotte drew a black casserole (pan).

Yesterday with the youth club, we went to see the pantomime in Lerwick. The pantomime was Sleeping Beauty, the wild west version. We were meant to go last Friday but it was terrible weather so the ferries wern’t running so we changed our tickets! We had to go on a bus to get to the Garrison which is where we were going to watch the pantomime. I sat at a table with Brydon and Lucy. We went on the ferry to go across the Sound.
The pantomime was different because it was the wild west version. Instead of being a princess Sleeping Beauty was the mayor’s daughter and was called Briar Rose. She fell asleep because a cactus pricked her and instead of a handsome prince it was a cowboy. We also had to sing at the end of the pantomime Zipadeedoodah. My favourite character was one of the goofy brothers.

On Tuesday I went to Lerwick for the Shetland Student Advisory Group. I had to get up at quarter to 8 but I fell back asleep. I got in the car and drove on and off the ferry. I played on the school iPad on the way there but we arrived there so I signed in and went to the institute office and got my iPad out. I played then we went to the museum and we got put into groups. We had to find signs of sustainability in the past. that took 2 hours. . We dressed up at the dressing up bit, made jumpers and that was when we finished! Then we had coke then we went back to the anderson. We had lunch and then we went upstairs. we wrote about what we found the put it on the wiki. http://global-ambition.wikispaces.com/Shetland+Advisory+Group+2011
