This is Mia’s Story.
Once there were five dinosaurs called: Sky, T-rex, Nandy, Mandy and Jem. Mandy and Nandy were twins. The bones in the museum in Edinburgh belong to them and animals like dogs and cats. Anyway they all lived in Dino world. They all fought and fought and then T-rex cut Jem in half and dug a big hole and buried her. Then they had another fight and Mandy and Nandy’s heads got cut off by T-rex. A caveman came and cut T-rex’s head off and T-rex died.

Spring
The leafs is growing in the trees. The birds are singing in the sky. The flower is growing in the ground. The grass is much greener. The purple crocuses and the yellow daffodils, white snow drops give colours.

Billions of yeas ago two t-rexes called Bob and Billy had a battle. Bob attacked Billy Bob won. Bob took Billy’s bones and made them into a sculpture. Bob left it in the middle of nowhere.

Magic Bones
Two million years ago 60 dinosaurs were trampling over sand. They were trying to find the lake so they could find a drink. When they got to the lake there was no more water. They died with thirst. Two million years after a young girl found the dinosaurs bones and took them to a museum to get polished and displayed. 10 years after the little girl had died. The little girls bones where placed with the dinosaurs bones. A window had been smashed and burglars came and stole the dinosaurs bone but when they touched it they died.

We made comics with Mis Anderson. We had to put the speache at the bottum off the paper and draw the characters in the comic strip boxes.

I played badminton in P.E. We use the badminton rackets and the shuttlecock.We had to hold the badminton rackets in our hands making our fingers like a v shape. We had to learn to serve and how to get the shuttlecock over the net.

I went to Cullivoe to see the Galley being burned in the sea. Some people went to the Cullivoe school because they had tickets. I saw Mia, Abby and Bradley I sat with them. We brought juice and sweetes. We watched different squads acting.

On Thursday the 23rd of February the Jarl Squad came to our school the Jarl was Graham Hughson Nicole was the viking princess. They sung lots of songs. We got to try on the helmets and hold the axes and hold the shields (which where very heavy). A man gave me a cream egg I haven’t ate it yet I mite eat it when I get home. This is a picture of me wearing a helmet and holding an axe and this is a picture of the whole school.

We made models out of clay with Mrs Gott and some of us drew pictures of our Famous Scot. We had a choice of drawing a picture or model making some of us went for making a model. I made a microphone, Mia made an old fashioned telephone, Melissa made a tennis racket, Leah made a crown, Kay made a dalek, Kerry drew a picture of Tavish Scott, Lucy made a pen and paper scroll and Brydon made a stage. After we finished some of us had to wash our hand because we had very very mucky hands. The next day the little ones made models too, like a television or a Wendy box A week after the people that made modals painted them, We painted them black or red or gold. But mostly everyone painted them black.
This is a picture of some of our models. In this picture there is microphone, crown, dalek and a tennis racket.

We were painting shields for the galley at Up Helly Aa. We went in to groups, Brydon and I, Phoebe and Lucy, Kerry and Abby, Bradley and Kay and Honor and Leah. We all did differant designs for each shield. They went on the galley in Cullivoe which is a north of Burravoe. Up Helly Aa is in Cullivoe and other places have there own. This is a Photo of the finished shields.

Today we had a glow meet with two people from Royal Scottish National Orchestra. There were schools from Shetland who were watching from their schools. We all sat round in a half circle in front of the board. The Glow Meet lasted half an hour. 12 schools joined in. The Royal Scottish National Orchestra played the violin, the drum and tambourine. The R.S.N.O glow meet was held in Glasgow. We saw one of the school on the other side of Yell. We will see the R.S.N.O on the 5th of March at the Clickamin which is in Lerwick .
