Our Visit to the Town Hall

We went to the Town Hall we looked at the beautiful stain glass windows. They were really pretty because the sun was shining through. We learned about the people in the stain glass windows and we looked at the flags that were on the roof. There was one of the windows that had to be boarded up. The stain glass was really detailed and quite old there was also two tapestries and a picture of Victoria and Elizabeth. We also went to the councilors chamber it also had stain glass windows.

Sandwick Visit

Yesterday our school went to Sandwick Junior High School for the Confucius Hub Classroom opening. First we went into the hall to watch  performances and speeches and that was really good! Next we went down the stairs to try some Chinese food. I tried crispy won tons which were my favourite! I also tried chicken on a stick which kind-of had a lemon taste to it and there was a spring roll type thing but it had a prawn in it and that was good too. When we were eating we liked looking at all the things people had been doing this term and we also looked at ours.
