Once, there was a girl called Sophia and she was riding her bike. She stopped to look at a pond, so she tied her bike to a tree, and then walked down to see the pond. The pond was very big and full of tadpoles. When it was time to go home, Sophia forgot that she had taken her bike with her, so she walked home to have tea with her bike still tied to the tree. When someone else came to the pond, then they saw the bike and said whose bike is this? Where did it come from?

  1. Hi Alice,

Your story was so fun to read. When I first saw this bike, I thought it looked so strange. Why would anyone lock their bike up on a tree like that? You explained it so clearly…to walk down to the pond and fish for tadpoles. Suddenly, it all makes sense to me. 🙂 Not only was your writing imaginative and engaging, it was also grammatically solid. Very nicely done, Alice!

  2. Hi!
I love your story, especially how it ended with another point of view. You also used a lot of details that helped me better picture the scene in my head. Keep up the good work!
