Burravoe School’s most recent building is 50 years old this year. (The original building is on a different site and was built in 1872.) This year is also the Year of Young People when young people are encouraged to do something in their community; for their community event Burravoe pupils  planned an evening of fun to celebrate the school’s birthday. They decided to hold a Mini Olympics and worked hard to plan events so that everyone could join in. The Parent Council provided some great food for everyone to have after the activities.  We had meant to hold the event at school but it was so cold and wet that we had to do everything indoors at The Hall – nobody minded though and everyone had a great evening! Thank you to everyone who came.
