Our Trip to Lerwick

Yesterday we went to Lerwick.  P4 and up went to the Mareel and P1,2,3 went to the Museum because the film was for ages 8 plus.  The film was called Anina  it was in Spanish but the subtitles was in English.  The film  was part of the Screen Play Festival.  Anina was good but it was a bit crazy in some bits. We had our lunch outside the museum.

After lunch we went to the lifeboat. First we looked at the  tall ship in the Lerwick pier. We walked around the pier to the lifeboat. We had a chat first then we went around the back of the lifeboat.  We went inside the lifeboat and we sat down.  I learned  that the little lifeboat was called a Y-boat. We went off the lifeboat and we went to the lifeboat station. We went to a room where there is a  a lot of the crews uniforms. I learned that they had to put on their uniforms and go to lifeboat in 9 minutes.
