On Saturday the 14th of June was the Burravoe Carnival 2014. The floats was: Frozen, Themes R Overrated, Father ted, Caravan Club Flower Power, Anderson Hippies, Da Rockers, The Jarl Squad, The Fire Engine and Da Music Boat. The Frozen float by the Burravoe bairns got 1st with £100, My float called Themes R Overrated got 2nd with £50 and Father Ted got 3rd with £25. All of the money gooes to a charity of the floats choise. We were working on our float for 5 days. It was Me, Jayde, Lucy, Nicole J, Nicole H, Ashleigh and Laura who was working on the float. We had to paint the sign, we stray painted dads rope pink, green and orange for the safty rope. We put hay bales on so that we could sit on them. We cbought sweeties to throw out to the people watchign and we bought silly string and fake snow to spray at people. We also decorated the tractor and attached colourful string to the back. We were at the hall and then we all got sprayed by not shaken enough silly string sprayed over us by people on our float! I still havn’t gotten  it off my clothes because it wasn’t shaken it was just pure liquid. I got annoyed at Ashleigh and threw little bits of confetti at her. We had 48 party poppers. We had 118 people, I was a pirate, we had a cat, a fairy, Tigger, a Mexican, a monkey, Minnie mouse, guns “n” roses guy and a 80’s hipster. We were meant to have 19 people but lots of them either didn’t go on a float or went on the Anderson Hippies float. We tried to spray them with silly string the most. When we got to the weaving shed then there was a barbecue and we were all hungry so we had hot dogs, burgers and chicken bites. Later on in the night Lucy and I played fiddle for a while. It was getting late so we went to granny and daas house and I played fiddle the their visitors. I went home at about 12.00 and I was really tired.
