Crunch & Magnie Have ARRIVED!

Our long awaited package with our school mascot Magnie, has eventually come from his holiday in Tipperary Cattle Station in Australia with his Aussie friend Crunch the Croc. Magnie is our school pet whale, he has traveled all over the world and comes back with many stories to tell, he has been to Australia many times.

It all started after we sent Magnie away to the land of Australia, Magnie had to fly all the way to the other side of the world, he says “It was the most exciting way to start off his holiday to Tipperary, with puffin poo to keep him well fed!” He arrived on 15th April, he spent 13 glorious days in sunny Australia.

Tipperary Cattle Station School has 6 children, the land around the school is very vast and flat. The head teacher is called Jasmine Shannon, There is wild cows roaming around; to get to school the children go in helicopters! They all have horses (how cool is that!).  Magnie told us how he met Crunch the Crocodile on his first day in Australia, they got on like a house on fire; Magnie did cycling in the barn with the children of Tipperary, he also did gymnastics, he also went to the equestrian centre and met horses for the first time, he went flying over Tipperary. Magnie went home with all of the children and got to know what it was like in different people’s houses. Magnie had such an amazing time! Tipperary blogged about how much fun they had with Magnie. Our mascot with his best mate was sent away on April 28th. Yesterday Magnie arrived jet lagged from his trip and now it is our turn to take Crunch the Croc around Burravoe. Magnie would love to thank Tipperary for having him in Australia.
