Primary 3 to 7 read a book called The Terrible Thing That Happened to Barnaby Brocket. It was written by John Boyne and illustrated by Oliver Jeffers. It’s about about a boy who disobeys the laws of gravity and he go’s on outstanding adventures. He goes on amazing adventures to Toronto New York and a lot of other places too. I enjoyed reading the book. At the end we did a competition called The UKLA Competition. In the competition you could choose whether you did a drama or a collage or anything else that was possible. We picked a collage and what we did on the collage was scissors to represent when his mother Elanor cut a hole in a rucksack which held him to the ground, then the pictures of who he met on his journeys what he had in common with them and where he went.
