Cooking for the Culinary Challenge

On Wednesday the school cooked for the Culinary challenge. We cooked haddock witch was fresh fish caught in Shetland by a local fishing boat. First we washed our hands, Then we put some red chilli curry paste on top of the fish using a spoon. Next we wrapped the fish in tinfoil, but we gave it some space to breath, we folded all of the gaps so there where no gaps. Then Jennifer put the fish in the oven to cook for 15 mins, but while the fish was cooking, we made the salad. In the salad was lettuce, avocado  and cucumber with a drizzle of honey on top of the salad. When we made the salad we cooked some rice (250g for 15 mins).  Then the fish came out it smelt lovely and fishy. Then we got our plates my groups coloured plate was green. Once we got our plates we  put the food on the plate very carefully so it looked very tidy. We walked round a table looking at all the plates of food and then it was the hard part voting, for the plates of food, but number 1 won so that  was the one going to the challenge. We cooked the food because it was for the Gameon Scotland Culinary Challenge. You might need to put the link into the URL bar. We cooked the for Bruni Darussalam because that is our second team to support.
