The Dig!

We have turned the other classroom into a Archaeologist’s dig. We have a tent which we have put a cloth over for it to be, where the archaeologists have a cup of tea and a biscuit! We have two sandpits and have buried Jewellery and ornaments in them. We have little trowels and brushes so we can be just like archeologists to dust the finds!  When we find somthing in the dig we brush at it then take it over to the examination desk to see what it is.We have a few ornaments in the Museum. Jennifer brought in some amazing artifacts that looked like then could be Roman treasures! There is a nice plate that has a stand but that can only stay in the museum since the sandpit isn’t big enough! The vase that she brought in looked like a Roman would carry water in it.
