Our structured band programme ensure young people can develop and extend their music making skills in a supportive and nurturing environment. Your child’s instructor / tutor will recommend which band is most suited to support your child’s musical progression.
- Junior Concert Band (for beginner level players, P6-S1)
- Intermediate Concert Band (Grade 1-2, for players in P7+)
- Senior Concert Band (Grade 3+, for players in S1 and above)
In 2024-25, over 120 children and young people are taking part in our Concert Bands.
REHEARSAL INFORMATION
All bands rehearse on a Tuesday, 5-6.30pm in Queen Margaret Academy, Ayr
The Bands’ Concert will take place in Ayr Town Hall on Tuesday 18 February 2025. Tickets will be on sale through the Ayr Gaiety website.
Senior Brass and Wind players will be invited to take part in our Symphony Orchestra in the summer term, 2025.
