Our structured band programme ensure young people can develop and extend their music making skills in a supportive and nurturing environment. Your child’s instructor / tutor will recommend which  band is most suited to support your child’s musical progression.

• Junior Concert Band (for players progressing to Grade 1)
• Intermediate Concert Band (Grade 2-3)
• Senior Concert Band (Grade 4+)
• Big Band (Advanced players, by invitation)

All bands rehearse on a Tuesday, 5.30-7pm (Big Band only, 7.15-8.15pm) in Queen Margaret Academy, Ayr

Senior Brass and Wind players will be invited to take part in our Symphony Orchestra in the summer term, 2027.
