A big hello from the pupils at Monkton Primary School!

Monkton Primary is a really fun school.  There is lots of outside space to play football.  The wee ones can play in the soft play area where there is a slide, sand box and a little house.  The playground also has a trim trail which we love. Every class has its own garden where we plant flowers and vegetables.

The class bases are lovely.  We like the bright colours and the underfloor heating!  The toilets are nice and everyone has space in the cloakroom for their jacket, school bag and PE bag.  We use our outdoor space as often as possible.  We have a big sports hall where we all meet for assembly and have our PE lessons.

Mrs McKnight and her team cook nice healthy lunches and snacks that we really like.  Sometimes new pupils come to our school which means we have more friends to play with.  We work hard at school and our teachers and helpers look after us and are always there to help.
