School Meals

Maidens Primary School does not have a fully operational kitchen and therefore Cairn Primary School provides school lunches for pupils.

School lunches are ordered electronically each morning. All pupils are issued with a menu to take home so as to inform both their parents and themselves as to what is on offer.

This menu can also be found here:

Pupils in P1-5 receive school lunches free of charge. All other pupils are able to purchase a meal which costs £2.15. As we operate a cashless process, pupil accounts can be topped up by pupils using the money envelopes provided in class.

As part of the Council’s South Ayrshire Goes Digital transformation programme, our new online school payments system – iPayimpact – is now available and letters have been issued telling you how to sign up. If you haven’t received yours, please get in touch.

The new system makes it easier than ever for you to pay for your child’s school meals and school trips and you can manage your account whenever and wherever it suits you using your mobile, PC or tablet. Enjoy your Monday mornings without the drama – find out more and sign-up here.
