We are very proud of our P7’s for completing their Award of Ambition. They all took on new challenges and made a huge effort to try new things. Well done to Calum who won a personal achievement award at assembly today. Calum has been helping the ladies in the nursery tidy up. Good job Calum.
Well done to Amalie and Elsi who received recognition at this week’s assembly.
Amalie thought outside the box last week and chose a creative comic strip to display her author research. What a clever idea!
And Elsi played in the brass section at the Carrick Academy Summer Concert which was held in Maybole Town Hall on Friday night. Great show!

Meghan, Charlie and Ollie all managed to get onto the leader board in a South Ayrshire Sumdog Competition. Not only that the school came second overall!!! A great effort.
Liliana received a literacy award for using her sounds to write new words. Well done Liliana. 🙂
And last but by no means least, Oliver was the Dojo Champ for the wee class last week. Good job!
Congratulations to the award winners this week who were Kyra, Elsi, Meghan, Charlie, Anna and P6 and P7s. Kyra and Anna were awarded a certificate for Handwriting , Elsi was awarded for being a great role model whilst the P6 and P7s were away at Dolphin House, Meghan was this weeks Dojo Champ. Charlie was awarded for completing his hearing aid sheet and P6 and P7 were awarded for their John Muir award and completing their stay at Dolphin House.
Well done to Jack, Matthew and Nathan who were all awarded certificates at this week’s assembly. Jack was recognised for doing so well in his science assessment, Matthew wrote a super imaginative story and Nathan is this week’s Dojo Champ. Well done boys!
Calum was awarded at this week’s assembly for joining in so well with the syllables work the nursery have been doing. Well done Calum.
Well done in the wee class to all our assembly award winners this week. Mia was recognised for her neat handwriting and presentation across all her work, Meghan won a Maths Award for learning her 2 times table and Oliver was this week’s Dojo Champ. Well done to you all.

Harvey won a literacy award for his handwriting. What a star! Mrs Holland awarded a personal achievement award to Brigham for all the super work he has been doing on structuring sentences. Good job boys.
Mia won Dojo Champ in the wee class this week 🙂 and Kaleyll shared a medal he was awarded from Anchor Boys. Well done everyone.
