This term, our Rights Respecting School Committee has been busy promoting children’s rights across the school. Members have been planning a special celebration to recognise our work towards achieving the Silver Rights Respecting Schools Award. They have also enjoyed visiting the Early Years Centre to share storybooks linked to children’s rights and help younger children learn about these important themes.

The committee has been gathering pupil voice by finding out what children would like to see in this year’s lunchtime and after-school clubs. They also demonstrated excellent citizenship by writing a letter to Morrisons to ask for support with our Harvest Parcel Collection. We are very proud of their enthusiasm, leadership and commitment to making our school a positive and inclusive place for everyone.
