This week

Hi everyone,

Hope this is a good week for you. The sun is shining today so that is a good start.

Here is something you can do to keep you moving – you could try it with your name then your family’s names.

Keeping up with forming your letters is important, so here is the app we use on the whiteboard to practise our letters.  Try it out at home for a bit of funky fingers fun!

Story Time – Sharing a Shell

Please watch the video and then you can have a go at some of the activities below:

Make a list of the rhyming words in the story.

Choose one of the animals in the story and find out about it. Can you write a factfile about where it lives, what it eats, how it might defend itself etc?

Design (and build) a new home for the three creatures to share.

Is there a ‘moral’ to this story? Does it teach us anything?

Think about people who help you. What do they do? What can you do to help them?

Thank you!

Thank you to my little stars for such a wonderful session so far. I’m sorry I wasn’t there at the end to say goodbye in person. A massive thank you to all the other staff for giving my kids the hugs and listening ears.  It’s been very emotional here at home!

I’m looking forward to hearing all about your adventures! My email is on the front page of the blog so please stay in touch.

Be good. Have fun. I’ll see you soon my little stars🌟
