Learning update

We have been really busy in Primary 1/2 over the last few weeks. Above shows a snapshot of the learning taking place inside and outdoors. We have been baking, building, making fireworks in a jar, exploring energy sources, learning new art techniques, collage and batik. We have developing our number and addition skills, sentence and word building. We continue to enjoy stories and drawing creating wonderful pictures. The primary 6/7s continue to join us to help with our reading and sounds which is always popular and through our play and free choice activities we continue to develop our communication, teamwork, problem solving skills in a happy learning environment.

We have had such a busy few weeks with lots of lovely learning experiences. Including, looking after skeletons, floating sunflowers, painting with blackberries, enjoying stories using our new qr code story selections, reading with buddies, outdoor learning, making and flying kites, using microscopes and  learning new sounds and numbers. We hope you enjoy this glimpse into primary 1/2.

What a busy bunch!

We have had an extremely busy couple of weeks. The children have settled into the new school year wonderfully. The Primary 1 children are learning the routines of class well and the Primary 2 children are making excellent role models.

We hope you enjoy looking at the pictures of our learning.

Nursery Transition Mornings

We have had two busy days. Yesterday we took part in a selection of technology activities. Building using different materials, including chickpeas and magnets. We even made and tested our own catapults. Today we made the most of the good weather and spent time in the outdoor classroom. Miss Baillie worked with us to make pizza too. Delicious!
