Santa is Missing!

Today, Mrs Wilkie’s Language group were working hard to make missing posters. Yes! Santa is missing! Read some of our descriptions of Santa and find out what he was doing when he went missing. I hope he is found soon, there is still lots to be done !

Well done, you all worked very hard to try and find Santa!

Reading Rangers ride out…

Today our Reading Rangers set off to spy on the reading areas in the different classrooms of the schools. They have taken lots of pictures and we are now going to discuss different things that we could do to make our library area a relaxing place to read a book.

It’s That Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

Primary 4 are looking forward to all of this years’ festivities!  The pupil Christmas lunch is this Thursday, 7th December.   Santa hats and reindeer antlers at the ready!

This Friday is our annual Talent Show!  A massive thanks to all those who auditioned!!  Who knew one class could have so much talent?

The Primary 4 party will take place on Friday, 15th December.  Snacks will be provided.  Children can come wearing party clothes or feel free to change once they have arrived at school.

Wishing you all a wonderful advent!

Christmas Show

Rehearsals are going well. Nearly everyone knows their words without their scripts (a well done and thank-you to prompters at home) and our singing is fabulous already! Outfit information will be out soon…

Don’t forget to get your forms back reserving your allocated tickets – they are in great demand ! We are sending children to check their bags every day but sometimes they don’t realise that  they have the form with them!

Talent Show Auditions for P2

Just a wee reminder that Primary 2 has its Talent Show auditions on Friday afternoon. Remember you need to bring any music you need with you, as well as any costumes.  Don’t forget to practise first …a good job you have a holiday tomorrow to get your act perfect! We are looking forward to watching our brave performers!

Yes, we know it’s book week but…

Earlier this week we had our flu vaccines and today we were checking out how good we are at beating germs, by washing our hands properly. Ruth brought in a special unit that uses UV light to see how dirty our hands are. She told us a bit about germs and how they spread from person to person.

Ask us how we should wash our hands – some of us are very good at washing the germs off!

Guess what song you sing twice whilst you are washing your hands?

Do you know what part of your body to cough into?

We do!

Do you know whether a tissue or a hanky is best?

We do!
