Primary 1/2 have been investigating forces as part of science. Bending, twisting and also push and pull. We made kites to demonstrate the forces of push and pull. We had great fun flying them on a nice Scottish windy day!!
Primary 1/2 came back to school last night for Bedtime stories! This session was to coincide with Scottish book week. The children loved their book bags and Read, Write & Count bags which were gifted to them. We had a lovely time enjoying stories, scavenger hunts, stories and snacks.
Primary 1 and Primary 1/2 visited Glenburn Library to coincide with World book week. We heard three lovely stories and then we voted on our favourite story. The library ladies also gave us colouring pictures to match the stories we heard! We had a great time!
Primary 1/2 have been learning about the Sun, Moon and Stars in science. Today we made phases of the moon planners. We also used jaffa cakes to highlight the different phases such as full moon, waxing gibbousand waning crescent! A very tasty science lesson!
