A huge thank you also goes to all our raffle prize donors whose generosity and commitment to their local community sets a great example to us all.

Christmas Fayre

Don’t forget to pop along to our Christmas Fayre this afternoon at 1.30pm.

We have lots of fun games, tombolas and activities with loads of prizes to be won. We also have our hand-crafted ornaments from each child in the school as well as tea, coffee, home-baking and hot dogs for sale.

We’ll end the day as always with our grand raffle – there is still plenty of time to buy a few more lucky tickets.

Sharing the Learning – Family Learning

On Thursday 29th November, we will be hosting the second Sharing the Learning Day this session.

This time we are working with our partners in Adult Learning to share more about Family Learning and why this is so central to our school approach.

On the day you can expect familiar faces from school and the Pizza Club as well as lots of fun activities to get involved in. The event starts at 2pm until 5pm – you can drop in at any point and stay for as long as you like.

If you can make it along at 2pm, you can head along to collect your child from their classroom and go with them to the hall where the event is being hosted. If you can’t make it until after 3pm, don’t worry as there will be plenty of Scottish themed activities going on in the classes.

Click the picture below for more details:

We are looking forward to seeing you there – please feel free to add to the Scottish theme by wearing tartan on the day.

Bedtime Stories

Primary 1 have had a great day rounding off Book Week. We started with ‘Drop Everything and Read!” in class then joined Primary 2 and Primary 6/7 in Dream Island for a bedtime story. We enjoyed snuggling up with a blanket and some toast to hear stories from the older children. What a fantastic week it has been!
