Our first ‘Riverbrae Parent/ Carer Gardening Club’ will be held in school on Wednesday 11th September to discuss plans on the group and what needs to be done .
We are looking at tidying and maintaining the outdoor areas of the school , making it a space that the pupils can spend time in and create a lovely environment that the classes can use for gardening purposes and outdoor learning . We also want to make the surrounding areas in school tidy and ascetically pleasing with planters, bulbs , plants etc . Any donations of bulbs would be welcomed , ready to plant now for the spring 💐🌺🌸🌷🌻🌼
If anyone has any contacts with gardening suppliers / tool merchants or with anything that you feel would be of benefit to the group could you please email
The Riverbrae Parent Council enjoyed popping along and helping at the P1 & P2 Parent/Carers coffee morning organised by senior phase staff. It was lovely to see the pupils in senior phase working hard serving refreshments. We enjoyed meeting lots of new parents and it was lovely to hear all their children had settled well into Riverbrae School .
Wednesday 28th August @ 6.PM – 7PM
Our next Parent Council meeting will be held at Riverbrae School. We hope this gives you all an opportunity to come along and join in discussions on matters on the agenda. We look forward to hearing your views, suggestions and ideas.
It is important that everyone in our community has the chance to have input. We try to accommodate and alternate daytime and evening meetings within school and online via Teams for people who cannot attend a meeting at school.
If you have any matters or questions wishing to be added to the agenda, please email riverbraeparentcouncil@yahoo.com Could we please ask that items you may wish to add to the agenda are emailed in by Monday 26th August, thank you.
Due to time limits we can only address matters on the agenda. In the unlikely event that matters that have been raised but not discussed in the meeting will be added next time, we do try to allocate time to everything.
We look forward to welcoming you all along and hope
