We have asked the children to bring in toys to discuss and compare with old toys for our Toys Topic. Could the children please bring in their favourite toy on Friday (non-electronic) the 6th December.

Christmas postboxes

It’s that time of year again.  The Christmas postboxes are out in school.   If children wish to post a Christmas card to someone in school please put the child’s name and class on the envelope.  If you think there are 2 people with the same name please put second initial too eg. Sam M . The P3 Christmas posties will deliver your card for you.

Thursday of the same week.Please encourage your child to use a capital letter and full stop in their sentence.
Tuesday Maths grid – 1 activity per week Friday of the same week.
Tuesday Reading – new books given out. Friday of the same week.

Old Toys Needed

Good Morning Everyone

We are going to be learning about Toys over the next few weeks. To allow us to learn about toys in the past, we are looking for any old toys you may have at home for us to investigate.

If you have any, could you please send them in a bag with your child’s name on it.

Hello everyone, Please see homework and weekly notes below.

Primary 2 notes:

  • It is House Art Day on Friday.  Please come to school in house colours for a day of Festive Fun!  Remember the children will be taking part in lots of arty and crafty activites so older clothes would be better.  No School Bags required on Friday.
  • School is closed on Monday 2nd December for the St. Andrew’s Day Holiday.  We re-open on Tuesday 3rd December.
  • Christmas Lunch choices should be returned to your child’s class teacher by Wednesday 27th November.

P2K and P5C Read and Munch!

Hello everyone,

We are so excited to announce that our next Read and Munch with P5C will be on Friday 6th December. Please encourage your child to bring in their favourite book from home to share and read with P5C children, along with their favourite healthy fruit or vegetable snack.

We are looking forward to meeting all again soon.
