P2F/P2G lost property

Hello,

We have a few items of clothing with no names on them that have been gathered in our classroom. If any of them belong to your child please collect them from us at the end of the day or let your child know and we will put it in their school bag.

Thank you,

Miss Finnigan and Miss Grant

Last week of term

Hello everyone,

As it is the last week of term there will be no formal homework. Our spelling rule is magic e with long vowel e and will be completed in class.

A reminder that school nativity performances are this week and we ask that if your child has not already brought in their costume, that they do so tomorrow.

Our P2 Christmas party is on Thursday afternoon. Your child should come to school in their uniform with their party clothes in a bag with their name on it to later change into.

If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to ask.

Many thanks,

P2 teachers.

Nativity Dress Rehearsal

Good Afternoon

As our Nativity dress rehearsal is on Monday afternoon, we have reminded the children about bringing their Nativity outfit in on Monday in a bag with their name on it.

All Primary 2 and Primary 3 children should aim to wear jeans/denim skirt or trousers and a checked/denim shirt. If you don’t have a denim or checked shirt, can we please ask that your child wears a plain t-shirt. We are not expecting anyone to buy anything new. Some children have asked if they can wear cowboy hats, and this is allowed if they wish, or if they already have one.

Thanks

Miss Grant and Miss Finnigan

Nativity Outfits

We are very excited that our Nativity performances are next week and we cannot wait to hear the Primary 2 and Primary 3 choirs.

We are aware that there has been previous communications asking some classes to wear shirt and ties, and some classes to wear cowboy-ish clothes. We had originally thought it would be lovely to have the children in shirts and ties as they always look so smart. However, as our Nativity is called ‘Prickly Hay’ we thought it would be fun to have the children dress up in cowboy-ish clothes.

Therefore, this post is to clarify what we would kindly ask all Primary 2 and Primary 3 children to wear for their Nativity Performance next week, and also to apologise for any confusion.

Thank you very much for your understanding and support.

We look forward to seeing you at our performances next week!

P2 teachers.

P2 Christmas Fayre Baubles.

Hello everyone,

We hope you all had a lovely weekend.

As not everyone was able to make it to the Christmas Fayre on Saturday, your child’s Christmas bauble will still be for sale in their classroom for £1.

Thank you,

Infant nativity – dress rehearsal Monday 16th December and performance Tuesday 17th December

As our infant nativity is about a stable hoedown, could we ask all P2F and P2G  children to wear cowboy-ish clothes eg. jeans/denim skirt and checked/casual shirt. Please don’t buy anything new.  Anything similar will do.  Cowboy hats may be worn.  Please bring these clothes into school in a bag on Monday 16th December, then take them home and come to school wearing them on Tuesday 17th December.

Thank you
