Good evening, I hope you all had a great weekend.  News as follows:

No formal homework home this week.  I will send bookbags home and the children can look over their wordwalls if they wish for extra practise.  P.e bags and wellington boots will be sent home this week.  Our “Oor Grandparents” homework is due tomorrow and we will start hearing all of their wonderful presentations tomorrow.  I can’t wait.  These will also be displayed at our open afternoon.

Our open afternoon is on Tuesday 27th March starting at 2pm.  Please wait at our fire door at the P2R classroom to be let in.  There is an event in the gym hall which means we can’t allow access through the main office as usual.  The children will perform for you and then you will have the opportunity to see around the Primary 2 classrooms finishing in our own.  At this time you are very welcome to look though your child’s tray to see their wonderful work.  At around 3pm you will be asked to wait outside in the playground for your child to be dismissed as usual at 3:15.  The children can’t wait to show you all of their hard work.

Lastly, report cards will be issued on Thursday 29th March.  School closes at 2:30 on Thursday for the Easter holidays and reopens on Monday 16th April at 9:00.

Thank you as always for all of your support.
