The Reading Leadership Group’s main aim is to promote Reading For Enjoyment.  As part of this they are working towards achieving the Scottish Book Trust Silver Reading Schools Award.  The group of children, from across the school, help keep the newly created library tidy and assist children when locating books.  The group also organised Newmains Book Week and World Book Day.  As part of these events they arranged for P1-3 to visit the library, Readers from the community to come and share their favourite books, a Reading café for P2&3, a Bedtime Story Session and much more.
