Our Caterpillar room is based within the annex building and is registered for 10, 2-3 year old children. We have 2 Early Learning and Childcare Officers and 1 Early Learning Support Worker based in this playroom.
Within this room the staff use Realising the Ambition to support the learning and development of all children. Our learning is play focused and child led. Within our 2-3 room all children are set learning targets across Literacy, Numeracy and Health and Wellbeing however nurture and sensory play is at the heart of everything we do. This allows the children to freely explore in their own way as they develop their skills.
