This morning you presented your homework to the class and I have to say it was very well done. We had some very interesting information shared and some great discussions taking place. P5S – Spelling Stars!
This week for our spelling sentences we were to focus on using ambitious connectives. Here are some wonderful examples from those of you who included them in your sentences. Well done!
Lucy S – Faithfully my mum, dad and Erin have remained off chocolate for Lent whereas I had an incident with a chocolate coin one lunchtime!
Lucas – Back in medieval times, they didn’t have paper so they had to use parchment and a feather.
Innis Unicorns are mythical animals although I still think they are real.
Chloe M – Sarah surprised her family by announcing that she was betrothed to Bob even though her family didn’t like him.
Olivia – Magically the mythical creature appeared however it was just my imagination.
Luca – At university the bashful student turned red with embarrassment as well as getting the hiccups during her presentation.

Well, what a success our fundraiser was today! We are very proud teachers! Well done to each and every one of you for helping in the preparations and organisation of today’s event. I have posted some photographs from this morning. Click here to see them.
Thank you everyone who took the time to bake or bring in goodies for our bake sale – it was very much appreciated! We had a wonderful display of cakes on offer this morning.
Once the money has all been counted I will let you know what the final amount raised was. Once again, very well done Primary 5!
