Good morning everyone, it’s that time of the week again. Please keep reading for your homework and reminders.
Spelling: Please complete list i for ie or ea in your spelling homework jotter for Thursday. You should complete a new task of your choice from the spelling homework activity grid you were given. If there are any you are unsure of please let me know in class and I will go over them with you. Please remember to complete all of the activities before repeating one.
Book Detectives:
Your Book Detective Homework is due for 6th December and can be found here.
Personal Reading Challenge: Your reading challenge continues until 20th December. Please remember to record the books you have been reading in you Reading Passport which is kept in the class. Please be sure to chose books suitable for you so you can achieve your target of at least 4 books.
Well done to all our readers who have smashed their target already!
Maths: This week Mrs O’Neill has posted another set of worded problems on your maths homework blog. Please complete these in your maths homework jotter. As always, please read each question carefully. You should ensure you are showing workings AND giving a full sentence answer. This homework is due for Thursday.

Please remember to access the Multiplication Trainer for extra times tables practice. You can access it using the link below. Also remember we have started up our Table Challenge again, we are going for green!
As we will be moving onto division this week you may also like to have a go at the Division Trainer. We will have a trial run in class.
Here are your reminders for this week.
- P. E. is on Tuesday and Thursday. Please ensure you have a full kit to change into: shorts, trainers and a change of top. Girls, please remember to bring socks if you are wearing tights. Also please remember to have a full water bottle with you.
- A number of you have still not covered your homework jotters. Please try to have this done as soon as possible with your name and type of homework clearly marked on the front. If required paper can be supplied.
- Christmas lunch request letters should be return with the money by Tuesday 6th December.
- If possible please remember to bring in an old shirt or tee-shirt which is big enough to cover your uniform during any art activities. Also any old newspapers would be great for covering your desks.
