Good evening everyone! I hope you have had a great weekend. We have been very lucky with the weather and hopefully it will continue for our upcoming holiday.
The last week of term has arrived …… and what a quick term it has been. I hope you have enjoyed it as much as I have.
There is no written homework this week due to it being a short week for you all. However, I would like you to complete some personal reading at home. It will be very good practice for the personal reading challenge you will be taking part in next term. I would like you to choose a book of your choice, preferably fiction, and read at least 3 chapters for Thursday. I will be checking in with you to see which book you have chosen and how much you have read.
I would also like you to look over the photographs posted this term with someone at home and leave a message on the blog. The message can be from you, someone at home or both. Let me know what you think of the activities we have been involved in this term. What have you enjoyed? What are you most proud of?
Here are your reminders for this week.
- If you haven’t already done so, please return your confirmation slip for our Parents’ Evenings this week.
- P.E. will be on Tuesday. We will have our final session of Scottish country dancing with P5H. P.E. kit is not required however you should have your trainers to change into.
- Please take your P.E. kit home to be washed over the holiday. This means it will be fresh for term 2.
- If you have a copy of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory on DVD, please bring it in. Remember to check with someone at home before doing so.
- You will finish on Thursday at 3.15pm for the October break.
Enjoy the remainder of the weekend. See you all in the morning.
