Hi our names are Zahna and Niamh and we will be keeping you updated on all the primary 1’s.

Its their first year of school and they have started reading Big Cats books, the first book they read was “The Picnic”. The really enjoyed making Barsail standard collages but learning new sounds such as ‘c’,’ck’ and ‘k’ was a bit tricky for them. Lastly P1 liked using the blue thinking hat while doing a thinking challenge of thinking of ingredients to put into a sandwich for a bad king and a good king.
