Unfortunately the children will miss World Book Day in school tomorrow.  Please try to celebrate at home!  The children could still dress up.  They could do some extreme reading in the snow or on a sledge.  You could visit the story corner on our website (under curriculum) and allow them to listen to stories.

Consider cosying up and diving into a story book or novel with your child.

Why not visit the Literacy section of the website and play games?

The children should be able to access their Education City and Sumdog too.

Mrs Cassells and the Literacy Leaders have spent a lot of time planning World Book Day. I know that some parents may also have spent time organising costumes. We will have World Book Day on Friday 9th March! The coffee afternoon and talk from Corrine will be rescheduled and we will let you know when it will be held.

Of course, we want you all to enjoy the snow and stay safe too!
