Primary 5 have been working hard in maths recently and certainly know how to spend money! Today we worked on a group task to manage money and spend it wisely. We worked together to choose items from different shopping lists that we would need for a birthday party. We had to work out the most cost effective list to buy from, calculating the total cost and taking deals into account, and list our items for purchase. Miss Carrigan noticed that some children bought more food for their parties than others, so she knows which ones she will be attending!

Well done to P5 – this was a challenging task!
