Primary 6 and Primary 7 Burns Supper Homework

Primary 6 must choose a poem written in Scots dialect or Robert Burns.

Primary 7 must choose a poem by Robert Burns to practice and recite for our Annual Burns Competition on Monday 23rd of January.

Please let your teacher aware of your choice by Friday the 13^th of January. There will be a class winner and an overall winner will be chosen and awarded the Burns Cup.

We are looking for:

• Good, clear dictation
• Sensible pace
• Accurate facial and vocal expression conveying the sentiment of the poem
• Appropriate props and gestures are welcomed

Mrs Napier will be available to offer guidance at lunches on a Thursday and Friday.
