I Want To Be A Shark

I want to be a shark,
not a human walking on the land.

I want to be a shark swimming freely through the sea,
not trapped in school,
not unable to explore.

I want to be a shark,
who can be the boss and not get annoyed,
who can tell unwanted visitors to go away,

I want to be a shark,
unaware of rules,
without a worry in the world,

I do not want to be a shark though if I’m going to be captured,
and put in a tank.

I want to be a shark so I can be free.

Good job Ellie I was very surprised you chose a shark but you made it sound really good your last lines were the best.

Ellie this is a really good poem I liked the line where you said you wanted to be a shark, unaware of the rules.
