In addition to existing support under the Stay in Scotland campaign, the Scottish Government commissioned JustCitizens.Scot, a legal centre for justice and human rights, to develop a range of factsheets for EU citizens. This guidance explains the rights of EU citizens in Scotland to vote, work and access healthcare, education, housing and benefits. These are now available in English, Polish, Romanian, Lithuanian, Spanish and Italian.

Continuing the celebration of Refugee Week this is a nice website with some good resources in the Materials section to support your New to English (A1) learners. Both downloadable worksheets and online learning practise available.
Refugee Week 2020 is a celebration of the contributions, creativity and resilience of refugees. Founded in 1998 and held every year around World Refugee Day on the 20 June.
This website has various ideas to contribute to and take part in celebrations this week. The Children and Young People’s Section has some good ideas for schools, teachers and pupils.
