Starting Nursery

Parents of new nursery pupils are invited to an informal evening meeting in the summer term. During the evening they have the opportunity to see the nursery classroom and some of the resources the children will use, meet the nursery staff and become familiar with the routines and structure of the nursery day. Staff will also offer some advice on how families can help to prepare their children for starting nursery.

Before children start nursery, they are invited to visit with their parent for a ‘play session’. This also provides a further opportunity for any questions to be answered.
