Our School Day

Set in the beautiful Perthshire countryside Auchtergaven Primary School is approximately 8 miles north of Perth, just off the A9. We are a happy, busy school where the children learn in a supportive, caring environment.

 

We have 6 primary classes and 22 full-time places in our nursery.

School Times

School Day is 9.00am – 3.00pm

Morning Break 10.40am – 10.55am

Lunch Time 12.15pm – 1.00 pm

Pupil Absence

Parents are requested to telephone the school by 9.30 am on the morning of the first day of a child’s absence or email auchtergaven@pkc.gov.uk. If your call is not answered please leave a message on the answer machine. Voicemails are checked at 9am and if a message has been left we will be aware of your child’s absence from school.

 

In addition, absence must be explained by letter or email to the school on the child’s return. This is a legal requirement.
