Foodbank

A group of secondary pupils took the food donated at our Harvest Get Together to the Perth Foodbank on Tuesday.  There was so much!  The class got the chance to see around the Foodbank whilst there.  A great experience was had by all.  Many thanks to all who donated.

Parent Event

There will be a Jump into Libraries event at the AK Bell Library on Saturday 4th November 10am – 1pm to promote their digital services, including their amazing 3D printer.

As part of this they will have the PKC GIRFEC Officer, Catriona Laing, hosting a free session aimed at parents and carers.  Between 10.30am and 11.45am she will be discussing the best ways in which to keep children and young people safe online.  For example:

“Explain to your children what information about them is personal and should not be shared online”

“Know what connects to the internet and how”

“Know what to do if something goes wrong”

The session is free but space is limited.

For more information regarding this event you can contact the AK Bell library at lending@culturepk.org.uk or telephone 01738 444949.
