We all want our children to be safe and happy when using school transport.  In order to help this happen it is useful to be aware of the following:

• Parents are responsible for their children’s behaviour whilst using school transport.

• All children must keep their seat belts fastened during journeys.

• School staff do not supervise school transport, do not meet children off school transport when they arrive at school, and do not supervise the playground before school starts at 9:00 a.m.

• All children using school transport are subject to the school’s disciplinary procedures at the discretion of school staff.

• School transport may be withdrawn from a pupil who does not conform to the required standard of behaviour.
