P1/2 Get Together
P1/2 presented to the whole school and their families all about what they had learned all about The Vikings.
P3/4 Get Together
P3/4 presented to the whole school and their families all about what they had been learning about their topic of The Rainforest.
I Bike Breakfast
On Friday, 3rd. November, Robyn Warburton and Dr Bike from Comrie Croft came to Braco Primary to promote cycling to school.
Everyone was invited to come along, if they wished, to a Breakfast run by Sustrans. Children were also offered the chance to have their bike checked over by Dr Bike.
In class Robyn held a short Get Together about her work and how she wants the children to be more interested in promoting cycling, walking even riding scooters to school. She will be returning again to help run another event.
Thanks to Robyn and the Comrie Crew for arranging this for the school.
Buddy Get Together
On Monday 2/5/16, the Nursery children who start next year, met the boys and girls who will be their Buddy when they are in Primary 1.
The P7’s told everyone how they enjoyed being Buddies this year.
We are all sure, the new Buddies will do a great job like the last ones!
Easter Service and Easter Bonnet Competition
On Thursday 24th March the whole school took part in our Easter Service.
Reverend Perkins led the service and all the classes sang a different song celebrating Easter.
At the end of the service, the winners from each class were chosen for the Easter Bonnet Competition (and what a difficult decision that was).
Well done and thank you to all the parents who helped with these and to all the members of the community who came along to our service.
P4/5 Get Together
Everyone enjoyed P4/5 telling us about their learning this term!
They showed us their work completed about Brazil, shoed us their Ski Trip video and tested Mums and Dads on their knowledge of the times tables.
Thank you P4/5 for a wonderful Get together!
Golden Achievers 26/2/16
This week’s Golden Achievers! Well done everyone!
P6/7 Get Together
P6/7 held their Get Together in the Village Hall and really entertained us with their samba drumming skills!
Following this, they let the whole school know what they had learned in their topic Brazil.
Get Together
We had a Get together where P7’s discussed their days at work on Take Your Child To Work Day.
Other children from P6/7 discussed their day at an Anti Bullying Day.
They asked the children to think of five things of their own, which they could say to themselves when anyone was being mean to them, in order to boost their self worth.
There was as usual the Golden Achievers.
